This book focuses on Türkiye's sovereignty and sovereign rights över marine energy resources in the World, together with the legal regime applicable to Türkiye. Since the maritime zones contain marine energy resources, it is important to define and delimit these zones and to determine the regime of energy resources in these areas.

This study aims to seek answers to the following questions:

• What is the geographical scope of the maritime areas?
• What law does govern the maritime areas?
• What rights do Türkiye have for the utilization of maritime areas?
• What law does exist in Türkiye regarding marine energy resources?
